A Crowd Favourite: Fruit Pizza

Course Dessert

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Topping Ingredients

  • 250 g package of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Assorted sliced fruit

  • Mix all crust ingredients. (It is thick like a sugar cookie dough.)
  • Spread onto a cookie sheet or pizza pan. (Using wax paper over it helps press it down without sticking to your hands.)
  • Bake the crust for 12-15 minutes at 375 degrees.
  • Let the crust cool.
  • Blend cream cheese and sugar well.
  • Spread over the cooled crust.
  • Top with sliced fruit of your choice.
  • Serve and enjoy.

You can play around with different fruit combinations to see what your family enjoys best! Berries are always a tasty choice, but there are many other possible additions. This is a delicious dessert that everyone will enjoy.
