Three Ways to Honor the Homeschool Dad

As outlined by Stephanie in today’s episode, encourage your husband in these three areas by asking questions and having conversations.

  1. Encourage them in their faith.
  • Pray with him and for him.
  • Have each of your children pick out a “dad verse.” Scripture that they can relate to their dad.
  • Question: What Scripture verse or verses do you want to speak over our family?
  1. Encourage them in their family.
  • Discover ways to pull them into the educational life, or talk about new ways they can be involved.
  • Question: What areas can you be a ‘teacher’ to our children?
  1. Encourage them in their purpose.
  • Start a conversation (and keep it going over years!) about what they think their purpose is.
  • Question: What do you think God created you to do?
