This Week at SchoolhouseTeachers ~ Elementary Math and Everyday Games

/ / Blog

In Elementary Math with Dr. Peter Price this month, he reviews some basics to be sure your students have a solid understanding of certain skills before preparing to advance in math. He’ll work on 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10x facts. Also this month, he will review counting fractions on a number line, to help reinforce for the student how fractions progress in size and what happens when a fraction exceeds a whole.

Teresa Evans and Everyday Games brings you five new ways to have fun making words this week with her reading games. You’ll make words with clams, trains, snakes, bees, and even turkeys! Practice letter combinations including bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, sl, br, cr, dr, fr, gr, pr, tr, ee, ea, ir, and ur.
