Schoolhouse Technologies has great and affordable worksheet software that will enhance your homeschool curriculum.

Vocabulary Worksheet Factory 2 generates worksheets for vocabulary and spelling words. The software comes with a word list of 3000 most common words, but the best part is that you can also add your own word list making it compatible with any vocabulary and spelling program. Adding your own word lists is very easy to do and only takes a few minutes.

You can generate 12 different worksheets using these lists: Alphabetical Order, Cloze, Crossword, Decoding, Lined, Matching, Missing Letters, Punctuation, Word Jumbles, Word Link, Word Search, and Word Shapes. After a few minutes reading the help file, I was making worksheets for my daughter's spelling words.

Mathematics Worksheet Factory 3.0 allows you to create math worksheets for grades K-10. You can make over 60 different types of math worksheets from basic facts to algebra. Topics include: Puzzles, Money, Time, Ratio and Percent, Tables and Drills, Number Operations, Number Concepts, Numeration, Measurement, Graphing, Geometry, Fractions, and Algebra. Mathematics Worksheet Factory is extremely easy to use. This is a great program, but I was a little disappointed that you cannot combine different types of problems onto one worksheet (i.e. basic addition fact practice and measurement practice on one page).

Map Worksheet Factory 2 will generate maps for your geography and history lessons. This is a little more complicated to use than the other programs. You'll definitely need to read the help files to use this program. It does not come with preloaded points on the map, but you'll have mark the maps with points and place names in the program yourself.

My favorite programs are Vocabulary and Mathematics. For the cost of the program, you have an infinite number of review worksheets for your spelling, vocabulary, or math programs from K-12. The are both very easy to use and a good value for the money. My children enjoy the variety of worksheets I create for their math facts and spelling word reviews. Completing these worksheets is a lot more fun than staring at flash cards!
