When summer hits, the kids want to skip school and worry about running around outside and playing video games. With Summer Brain Quest for Adventures Between Grades 1 & 2, you will be able to keep your child learning all summer long.

The Summer Brain Quest is a workbook that will give your child the needed practice over the summer months, while still keeping it fun.  Unlike other workbooks, this one contains a progress map and stickers to keep your child motivated for the whole summer.

All the major subjects are covered including Math, English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. They are mixed throughout the pages instead of separated by topic. This makes it easy for me, knowing that I don’t have to look through the whole book to pick out what to do each day. Instead, all I need to do it open the book and allow my daughter to work on the next available page.

When it comes to the pages, each page is full of color. These pages were not distracting, but interesting. This made my daughter want to open the book. Opening the book is the first step in getting her to do what she needs to do each day.

Knowing that I don’t have to plan out what to do each day, gives me more time, which is something I am always looking for as a busy homeschool mom! I loved knowing that I didn’t have to plan anything for the day and my kids would still be learning all the primary subjects that they needed to cover to keep their minds active and learning.

With the map and stickers that come with this book, there is a lot of motivation to help your child push further each day. Your child will want to do more each day to earn their stickers on the map. By adding their stickers, your child will be working on completing different levels on the map.

Between completing the tasks on hand, and any outside quests, your child will be able to earn their 100% sticker. This sticker is only obtained by completing everything in the whole book. This is the challenge that my daughter is trying to aim for this summer!

Both my daughter and I are excited to work through this workbook together. This book is a great way to keep learning happening over the summer without taking a full day to finish lessons. If you are looking for something fun and full of learning for the summer months, this is one of those items I would suggest you pick up!
