These songs provide a sequence of events in our country's history, the names of some of the key players, and an easy way to memorize dates that might otherwise be tedious.

States and Capitals Songs are songs that go through each region of the United States, singing the state and capital names twice. The song is then played again, but the first time through the name is left for us to sing, and the follow-up echo provides the answer.
