Teach Yourself to Read Hebrew is a 104-page book with 3 CDs to help you pronounce the letters correctly. The CDs read through the entire little book--I like that. I have other tried other foreign language courses in which the readers on the CDs are difficult to understand. This is not the case with Teach Yourself to Read Hebrew--praise God!

What I love about this program is that it's very easy to understand. I'm a homeschooling mom, so it's taking me a wee bit more time to complete this terrifically simple course than it would if I didn't have the daily duties of teaching and homemaking. With that said, I'm currently going through this course first. Then I will teach it to our daughter. Once I got started learning the material myself, I became confident that it would be just as easy to teach.

From the very first chapter, I've been learning and understanding how to read Hebrew. It's absolutely wonderful how simple it is! The first lesson introduces just three Hebrew alphabets at a time. I like that! How wise of them, because it makes it much easier to "get-it" fast. You are only learning one vowel every couple of lessons, which allows you to get comfortable with a couple of letters when combined with a vowel. I was able to read and understand the exercises from the very first lesson, and if I can do it, anyone can . . . literally.

I plan on purchasing more materials from this company after we master this course. I give this product 10 stars and highly recommend it for anyone who is interested in learning Hebrew quickly, easily, and enjoyably! The cost is not bad either!
