Vance Granville Community College’s Career and College Program (CCP) pathways offer North Carolina high school students a clear path to success in college and career. The program is TUITION-FREE to all eligible students who attend a NC public, private, or home school. Students can choose one of our three college transfer pathways leading to an Associate degree and/or choose from many of our approved Career and Technical Education pathways that lead to a certificate, diploma, degree, or State or industry-recognized credential. CCP is a great way to earn transfer credit as well as entry-level job skills.

Students who begin in CCP, are welcomed and encouraged to continue at VGCC after graduating high school to complete and/or pursue one of the more than 40 curriculum programs or the variety of Continuing Education opportunities the college has to offer.

By starting early through CCP, a student can complete course work—tuition-free—in their approved pathway that shortens the time and decreases the costs to complete a 2-year degree or college credential. At VGCC, you will be assigned a dedicated CCP advisor who is committed to helping you take advantage of every opportunity for you to achieve both personal and professional success. Your assigned CCP Advisor can share with you the benefits of beginning your college transfer, business, computer science, engineering, health science, or construction technology degrees early at VGCC.
