What’s New in Pre-Algebra and How to Write a College Entry Essay

/ / Blog, Schoolhouse Teachers

This week in Pre-Algebra, take a look back at our unit on decimals and practice what you’ve learned. Then get ready to dive into another important unit of math—percents! Charlene Johnson will help you learn the basics, understand what they do, apply them to real life, and review what you’ve learned.

How to Write the College Admission Essay wraps up this week by taking a closer look at what questions you need to answer to show the college of your choice that you belong on their campus. In order to do that, you will spend some time getting to know the school of your choice on their website and then work through Sharon Watson’s exercises on how to turn what you have learned into an important piece of your admission essay. If you don’t have a school picked out yet, don’t worry. This is just for practice so you won’t break out in hives when you have to write a real one!
