The folks at Creation Sensation have developed a product that should appeal to all ages. The Family Dinosaur Adventure kit, available for either rental or purchase, includes an excellent collection of some of the best creation-based books and videos about dinosaurs that are available on the market today. In addition, the kit also includes authentic dinosaur fossils and museum quality replicas, crafts, hands-on activities, and a 60-page guidebook to help you traverse through a dinosaur adventure.

We received the rental kit for review. This kit included all of the items mentioned above, as well as enough craft supply consumables (e.g., plaster of paris, mixing cups and measures, pasta - for dinosaur bones of course, dirt) for a family to embark on their adventure. What fun we had. The rental kit was ours to use for three weeks.

It arrived on a Friday and we spent some time just looking at it, waiting for dad to get home from work. It was decided that we'd begin our adventure on Saturday afternoon, since we wanted the whole family to participate, and then we'd continue our adventure in the evenings after dinner so all could be present. One look at the kit and it was obvious that dad did not want to miss out. Our boys and girls range in age from six to 11 and we were interested to see what appealed to whom. We thought everyone would enjoy all aspects of this adventure; however, we did have one surprise. My 82-year-old mother, who lives with us, was not about to miss out. She mixed plaster, helped soften clay, watched the videos, read the books, and was very involved. Thus, we concluded that no one is too young or too old to thoroughly enjoy Creation Sensation's Family Dinosaur Adventure.

The dinosaur adventure guidebook was excellent. The lessons, crafts, and labs were straightforward, easy to follow, and understandable to all. The materials included in the kit were well integrated and included something for all ages. There was no concern about anything "evolution" creeping into this fine study, and the products included were scientifically, historically and Biblically accurate. What a nice feeling to know that you don't have to read ahead to cull out inappropriate, inaccurate, or unbiblical information.

I would not hesitate to recommend renting The Dinosaur Adventure kit for your family. Not only do you get so much for a good value without the requirement that you "buy" everything, but it's learning at its best without the kids thinking that "we're doing school." What an educational opportunity to have quality materials like this come into your home for a short time that you can use, enjoy, and return. And, even after returning the kit, the results of the adventure are everywhere. We have T-Rex skull plate, tooth, brain, hadrosaur skin, tooth row, bone fragment, and oviraptor plaster-of-paris casts in various rooms in our home. We also have skin and egg rubbings, pasta skeletons in dirt, and poems and papers on room walls. What great fun we had as a family.

Check out the Creation Sensation for additional information on this kit, products they offer, and other kits available and "in the works." You'll have an adventure with learning and memories to last for years.
