Beautiful singing focused on worship and praise of God is the focus of Hymns of the Church, volumes 1, 2, and 3, from Oasis Chorale. Each CD album features the a cappella voices of the Oasis Chorale. The volumes were produced to accompany a hymnal. The Oasis Chorale is conducted by Wendell Nisly and consists of members from Florida up to Canada, from Arkansas to Pennsylvania. 

With a mission "inviting singer and listener to thoughtful worship through artistic choral music sung skillfully," the listener cannot but help be brought into the experience. The listener will be enveloped in peaceful, hope-filled worship. The albums run between 35 and 45 minutes. Each has 16 or 17 selections. These selections vary between traditional hymns and newer pieces and are beautifully sung. Many of the titles are unfamiliar, but many are familiar hymns. Either way, the singing is beautiful and invites the listener to worship.

This set of three volumes makes a lovely addition to a home collection of music for worship and edification. It could be used to supplement a daily gathering of the family for devotions, to encourage one throughout the day, or to set the heart for worship in these days where so many are worshipping at home through online video options. The hymns presented by Oasis Chorale on the CDs Hymns of the Church, Volumes 1, 2, & 3 will provide reflection and worship of God.
