My First Search & Find: Cars and Trucks on the Road is a fun book appropriate for younger children and toddlers. Each page features a number from 1-10 and numerous hidden pictures on the page for children to find.  The colorful illustrations in this book are top notch and help draw the readers in for a closer look.

To start off the book, my son and I looked for “One Purple Car” that can be found leaving the garage.  Then we have to find a bear on a swing, a cat with a backpack, a pigeon with a hat and scarf, a giraffe waving, and more.  Toward the end of the book, we found ourselves hunting for ten orange vehicles working on the construction site.  My 3-year-old and I enjoyed looking at this book together and I believe this book is perfect for littles that aren’t quite reading.

Each page brings more adventures through the city, with the final page unfolding out to see the big complete city scene with lots of hidden pictures to find.  The back cover features more items that you can flip back through the book to try and find.  

Cars and Trucks on the Road is the perfect board book addition to any young child’s library.  With so many things to find, children and adults alike can work together for quite a while.
