Learning new words and spelling words can get boring. Boring turns into not wanting to learn. I really want to make sure my kids are having fun while they are learning, so I am always looking for the fun way to learn things. I found that in the Word Search Maker (Full License)!

The Word Search Maker is a downloadable program that you can access on your computer at any time. All you need to do it open the program and click on create a new puzzle. Once you are in, you get the choice between four different puzzle types. These puzzles are the standard word search, word search with a hidden message, word search with clues and word search with clues and hidden message.

Once you pick your puzzle type, it is time to enter your words, and extras. This is simple and easy for you to do. There are no confusing instructions, nothing that would make you wonder what you were supposed to do next. This is a simple to use program that allows you to make high quality word finds for your kids.

I used this for three out of my four kids, the fourth is only two, so she is not ready for a word search, yet. We would use this for anything from spelling words, Bible memorization verses, and even sight words for my beginning reader. I change things up in the style of puzzle depending on the child and the purpose for the puzzle. When it comes to my high schooler, I like to use the word search with clues and when it comes to Bible memorization, I like the word search with a hidden message.

This is a fun program to have on my computer. Whenever the kids start to get bored with what we are doing, I am able to change things up with a simple word search puzzle. This small change in the day in enough to make them happy, which in turn makes me happy.

This is also a program that works great for all the ages of my homeschool. Knowing that I can get one thing that works for all the kids is a huge saver on the budget, and being a homeschooler, the budget is one thing I watch. I love the fact that I can use this over many different subjects in our homeschool. This means that I always have a backup for when the days get monotonous and we need a change.

If you are looking for a simple addition to your homeschool, one that will help with everything from sight words to spelling words and even state capitals, this is a program to check out. This is one that I know we will be using for many years to come!
