If you have been looking for a piano program for your budding pianist, then look no further than Piano K! This self-teaching piano program will have your child playing real songs like Mary Had a Little Lamb, London Bridge, and Beethoven’s, Ode to Joy on the piano in no time at all. Children aged 3 to 12 will learn to play twelve songs in each level in no time at all. Learning to play the piano at a young age will help improve school performance while helping to motivate your child to achieve and set goals.

Because this program is set up like a game, children as young as two will flock to the keyboard to learn and play. Best of all is that the program doesn’t feel like work when you use the cute and colorful animal stickers to replace the notes on the keyboard. With integrated colors and animal figures, Ant, Bird, Cat, Dog, Elephant, Frog, and Giraffe for the notes, teach your child to match notes with corresponding scores in a fun and exciting way without having to have any musical background from the child or the educators.

We have had so much fun with this piano program! The three books we received are spiral bound, 11x17 inch books that open flat and can be propped up on the music stand. The pages are printed on a thick glossy-like cardstock that can withstand even the tiniest of hands. Each book comes with the corresponding animal note stickers for placement on the keyboard keys.

My nine year old has been wanting to play the piano for several years now. Private lessons never worked with our schedule and we have yet been able to find a program that really clicks until now. We have been working through the Level 1 book for the last few weeks with great success. Instead of just making noise by banging on the keys, my 9 and 6 year-olds are starting to play actual songs! They are so pleased with their efforts; as am I. At first my two year-old wanted to pull the stickers off because that’s what two year olds do when something is different, but once he learned that they are for making music he happily left them and banged the keys instead to make the notes needed. I wrote the numbers 1-5 with a washable marker on the right hand of my nine and six year-old daughters before we started each lesson.

Overall, all four of us have loved this program! Other programs we have tried have left us frustrated at trying to read the sheet music and hand placement. Piano-K’s colorful animal notes makes learning the notes quick and easy. We are all so pleased with our efforts to learn to play the piano and hope to be through the 11th song of Level 1, Jingle Bells, by the holiday season.
