This is an e-book that is basically and instruction manual for parents who want to teach phonics.  It explains all the basic things you need to know such as consonants and vowels and their sounds and the various blends and digraphs and patterns. It is just your basic instruction manual. It is what I have wished for all the time I have been teaching phonics because it is a quick reference that lists all the blends, etc. It also gives pointers on how best to present these to your student.

I have found this very helpful and am putting a spiral binding on my printed copy so I can have it at my desk for quick reference. I’m teaching phonics at several different levels right now so it is good to have a handy instruction manual that I can refer to as I make my daily lesson plans.

I recommend this for everyone teaching phonics. There are a lot of good programs and curriculums available but this is just a little guide that pulls it all together for you and makes it simple and is a great supplement to your other materials.
