Bob Jones University Press has a lot to offer to homeschooling families without spending a lot of money to get it. Their English 3 is a perfect example of a good quality product that does the job well. Do you like it all laid out for you? Do you want a thorough program that will cover all that is important for third grade English? BJUP has it for you. Using a farm theme, English 3 covers book parts, sentences and sentence parts, parts of speech, punctuation and then covers it all again with good review. The Teacher's Manual lists lesson objectives and any special teacher notes for that lesson. This is followed with how to teach the concept to the student and then you have them work in the text. There are 70 extra worksheets that reinforce the lesson and the Teacher's Manual suggests enriching activities for further study on the concept. These activities can range anywhere from games to chalkboard work. The answer keys for both the worktext and the extra sheets are also included. There is a lot in this program for complete grammar instruction that is easy to teach for mom and easy to understand for the child.
