Reading to little ones is so enjoyable with Let’s Count Fish! This hardback book is full of colorful, fun illustrations of funny fish and rhyming text that my preschoolers have loved. They have thoroughly enjoyed counting the funny fish that are in the sea.

In Let’s Count Fish! we met fish deep in the sea, fish that are good friends and fish that swim upside down. Each page introduces the next consecutive number until there are “ten funny fish that never frown.” Then on the last page of the book, the child is asked to count the ten fish.

After reading the book, my kids enjoyed completing the coloring pages and activity sheets in Let’s Count and Color Fish! There are 36 activity pages in Let’s Count and Color Fish!. These include drawing pages (like draw their own funny fish faces, fish with spots and fish with smiles.) There are also dot-to-dots to complete and practice counting and writing numbers. Additionally, there are pages for them to color the cute illustrations of fish and other aquatic life.  

My preschool age children have really enjoyed reading and rereading Let’s Count Fish! My daughter, who is two, loves to sit and read to herself from Let’s Count Fish!, while my four year old son enjoys completing the activities in Let’s Count and Color Fish!.

I found Let’s Count Fish! and Let’s Count and Color Fish! very enjoyable for my preschoolers. They truly loved the cute, bright animations in the book. Let’s Count Fish! has become a favorite read-aloud in our home.
