Meet the Miller family! Wisdom and the Millers is the first book in the Millers series of books that follows the lives of four Amish-Mennonite children. Wisdom and the Millers illustrate 25 Bible verses from the book of Proverbs through real life stories. These stories teach life lessons based on scripture in an inspiring, wonderfully written format. We reviewed the paperback that contains over 150 pages of stories that will engage the whole family. The Millers books series are favorites in our family, the children love them, and so do Mom & Dad. These are wholesome, real life lessons from a Biblical perspective.

We also reviewed 'Working with Wisdom', the companion workbook to Wisdom and the Millers. This workbook reinforces all the lessons taught in the stories of the book. The workbook is designed to build our children's vocabulary, language, and reading and writing skills. It contains puzzles, short stories, and questions that test our children's comprehension of the lessons in the book. This is a fun workbook that the children enjoy! I can't say that all workbooks get this response in our family! The workbook is geared towards children in the third to fourth grade age group, but when shared as a family, we all, even the 4-year-old, get involved!

The Millers stories are excellent character building stories, and make a wonderful family devotional time, in a fun and engaging format! I can't rave enough about the Millers stories and all the Millers books! My highest recommendation!
