The Year The Snow Didn't Melt Review by Christine Hindle

This is a softcover picture book of approximately 32 pages.

In this story, the winter weather continued for one very long year, and cold and snow became the norm. The next year, the snow suddenly stopped falling, and spring weather prevailed for the entire winter. No one knew why. There is really no other conclusion to this story. It has nice pictures, but there is something lacking in the storyline. I am not sure if it is a kiddie version of a global warming agenda, or if it is just a story. There was nothing to clarify that in the book.

Even though there isn't much to this, I think the kids will enjoy it just for the pictures, so it will remain on our shelf for a while.   This book sells for $8.95 on the AuthorHouse website.
