100 People in the Bible Review by Kathy Gelzer

Bible Classes for Students
http://www.bibleclassesforstudents.org

These flashcards feature 60 Old Testament and 40 New Testament people. Each card measures 2¼ x 4¼ inches and is printed on cream card stock. The Bible character's name is on one side, and on the other side are three bulleted facts about the character. For example, the Shem card has the following facts: served by Canaan, descendants dwelt in Mesopotamia and Iranian area (Semites), Genesis follows his generation (Genesis 11:10). There are usually one or two Scripture references for each character. Some of the characters are well known, including Esther, Daniel, and Abraham. Others are not so familiar, such as Festus, Zerubbabel, and Josiah.

The half sheet of paper that came with these Bible flashcards says they can be used for games, memorization, and quiz prompts. I think it would be helpful to include some specific game ideas. Also, I think it might be a good idea if the cards had category labels, such as kings, judges, apostles, women, and prophets. Then if you were studying that subject or period of time in the Bible, you could pull out those specific cards to study.

If you are looking for Bible character flashcards, these are a good option.
