Stuck Up Magnets ETC Review by Heidi Shaw

Magnetic Play sets, The Great Outdoors, and MORE!
juliep@shaw.ca

Those of you looking for fun and inexpensive activities for your pre-school children will be delighted with Julie and her fun magnet sets. She has put together many adorable play kits that will keep your children content and creative for many, many hours. Sets are available for Christmas, Easter, Farmyard, The Zoo, Vacation, Outdoor Fun - the list goes on and on. Julie is in the process of building her website, so you will have to e-mail her for a complete list and prices. The FUN part of these magnet sets, besides the fact that the faces and characters are adorable, is that all the heads and bodies are interchangeable. So instead of changing clothes, like paper dolls, the kids actually just switch the heads around! I wish I had a photo to really convey how cool this is! My daughter loves these things. She is three and a half and she will play with them on the fridge or on her metal board for hours. We were given the Great Outdoors to review, but I can tell already I am going to have to get her the Princess set as well as the Zoo, and probably more. They are all so fun and we can't decide which to get next.

The set we reviewed has a bear, sleeping bags, tents, six kids in various poses, fishing rods, flashlights, and even little fishes that can be positioned on a lake!

All the pieces are durably laminated with magnets on the back. They are perfect for road trips, just bring along a cookie sheet and you have a great lap tray and happy kiddos.

Julie also makes great laminated flash cards for counting. I bought a set with laminated cards to 10, and 10 cute little ladybugs. They all have Velcro on the back and you just switch them around from card to card. Julie makes amazing personalized door hangers for kid's bedrooms; just ask her - I think she can make anything, any topic! My sister has one for her daughter's door that flips over front to back to announce that that the princess is in, or out, as the case may be.

Gorgeous and highly recommended, this is a great deal for you U.S. folks, because Julie produces these from her home on Vancouver Island, Canada. Your dollar will go even further. It is a great idea and I know your kids will enjoy these sets thoroughly.
