From Karen Henley, the author who brought us the Beginner's Bible, and illustrator Joseph Sapulich, who creates Veggie Tales illustrations, comes the Day by Day Begin to Read Bible. This is a high-quality, hardcover book filled with easy-to-read, simplified Bible stories for children. The book has over 400 pages and is packed with colorful illustrations.

My children have so enjoyed this book. It is a great way to introduce our littlest ones to the Bible. The day-by-day format, based on five days per week as well as suggestions for weekend reading, makes it simple to follow. Day by Day Begin to Read Bible is easy to share with little ones if they are a bit too young to read yet. For those a little older, it provides the opportunity to work with them, helping them read this special Bible of their very own.

My children had these things to say about the book:

"This Day by Day Bible, written by Karen Henley, can help children and parents learn about God and love Him. It will help them understand God's Word. My favorite story is the Resurrection; through it people can understand and go to heaven. I like this book; so does my baby brother. One story a day can help children learn to read God's Word and grow in God." --Cassandra, age 6

"This Bible can teach children, from the time they are born until they can understand the real Bible. Our baby brother loves the stories. We love it too! Children should learn about God and His ways. They can learn to walk with Him while they are very young so they can follow Him right from the start. It has lovely illustrations. Most importantly, it can help children learn God's ways and from his wisdom." --Mercy, age 9
