Danny is the story of a little girl's dream of having a pony of her very own. Janie works at an upscale horse farm and meets Danny, a beautiful gray pony. Danny is injured and discarded by his owner (a teenage girl with a terrible attitude and mean spirit), and a mysterious benefactor gives Janie the chance to be Danny's new owner. Janie helps nurse Danny back to health and works hard at learning to ride, care for, and compete with Danny.

This story would be so much better without the worldly attitudes of some of these characters, the language, and the situations. It could be a much sweeter story for children than the producers and writers let it be. Sadly, this would not be a DVD I would buy for my children. Our recommendation? Don't waste your money!
