The Sign With Your Baby: Complete Learning Kit is a thorough program that includes a book, DVD, and a quick reference guide for introducing hearing babies to American Sign Language (ASL).

Dr. Joseph Garcia teaches parents how signing can make a big difference in empowering and meeting the needs of your baby. My personal experience with teaching signs to my own children as babies is one of the reasons I wanted to review this product. For instance, my daughter use to sign "more grapes" in a restaurant instead of screaming to let me know what she wanted. It made for a much more pleasurable dining experience for me as well as those seated around us.

The book is a power-packed, simple read. It can be read in under an hour-great for busy moms of babies and toddlers! There are 145 clearly illustrated signs that will be important to you and your children.

The DVD/video is 63 minutes long. It demonstrates the 145 signs from the book so you can ensure that you're an accurate model. There are also sections of babies signing and parents testifying to the helpfulness of sign language.

The quick reference guide is a laminated guide illustrating 54 of the most useful signs. It offers a place to monitor your child's progress with a date shown and a date produced line. It would make a wonderful addition to your child's baby book or a place to record information till you have time to pull out and fill in their baby book.

These products truly make a complete learning kit for mom and baby. You can also purchase each of these products separately.
