This is a beautifully illustrated book that is sure to be a favorite with younger children who love nature. A whimsical rhyme points out various creatures in the pictures, also drawing attention to how we can use our five senses to explore in nature. It's a fun book! But that's not all - Sense...Abilities has a very unique feature. This book is designed to be read to a group without the reader having to turn the book around or remove the book from the group's view. (Or read upside down over the top of the book like I have done!)
On the back two pages of the book are the words and pictures from each page of the story. These two pages also include additional interesting facts about the animals, plants, and scenery from the story. Give this book a try! Sense... Abilities is enjoyable for the teacher as well as the students!
