Dan's Doodles IV e-book Review by Courtney Lawson

Dan’s Doodles IV e-book

Dan’s Doodles IV is the fourth book in a series of coloring books. As you might have guessed from the title, Dan is a doodler. However, he takes his doodling to a whole new level. These are abstract and intricate designs, full of lines and circles. The book contains 33 doodles.
I do a lot of reading aloud in our homeschool, and my boys tend to listen better if their hands are busy. Dan’s Doodles are a perfect exercise for keeping their hands busy, but their minds focused.

The designs are involved, so coloring them with colored pencils works the best. However, because of the small area of some of the elements, the designs might be frustrating for younger students. Still, it is also a great way to build up the fine motor skills. Because it is an e-book, the designs can be printed again and again. It is fun to see how different colors can change the look of the same picture. At a price of $2.95 for a downloadable book, these books are affordable. I highly recommend you give them a try!
