The Teasing Bird is a fun music-filled CD for children. It was written, produced, and engineered by Ira Marlowe. This CD has thirteen songs.

This CD, The Teasing Bird, starts out with a Molly the Moose song, which is one of the themes you find repeated in each of Ira Marlowe's CD's. There are several songs with science themes, as well as some with environmentalist thoughts, and some silly, fun songs. The Teasing Bird song in particular is a nice song because it contains a bird who finds out he is unhappy because of the terrible way he treats others. He changes his ways and apologizes to the other animals and finds that it is much better when you are nice! This CD is not specifically for home school use, but you could use a couple of the science based songs for your science class.

My children really enjoyed this CD and quickly memorized some of the songs. I enjoyed most of the songs and was glad that the science songs actually taught them something.

On the other hand this CD is sadly lacking the Christ centered theme that I expect from most of the music we listen to. These songs come from a very secular way of thinking and did not really fit into our home.

I cannot recommend this CD to home school families because I do not believe the themes and values in this CD are those that most Christian families would want in their home.
