While this is a very simple craft, it’s a great activity for kids of all ages to do together and see how the older children can be creatively challenged to lengthen the caterpillar, use different materials for dramatic effect, and paint with intricate detail and embellishment! You can still get kits that have everything you need to make safety pin bracelets, but since it is literally only made from safety pins and beads and a few other objects for more creativity, you do not actually need to acquire one of these kits.
