Sometimes as moms, we are so busy taking care of our family that we barely have time to eat. We may grab a nibble here and there, but our main focus seems to be on everyone else. You can likely relate to this on the days when you're homeschooling AND trying to keep up with the household chores.

But what about when everything has settled down and you want a nice little treat? Something sweet but that you do not have any "guilt" about afterwards.

Well, here's your go-to no-guilt sweet treat! These are quick, easy, and oh-so-tasty without lots of calories.

This recipe, as it is, is very easy and fun to make. You can even make a family event with this and have everyone make their own. Just line up all the ingredients and have fun.

No-Guilt Banana Splits

Ingredients
  

  • Bananas
  • 2 cups cottage cheese, yogurt or applesauce
  • Blueberries, kiwis, strawberries, raspberries
  • Nuts or granola
  • Whipped cream
  • Caramel or chocolate sauce
  • Cherries (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Cut a banana length-wise on a dish.
  • In between the bananas, add enough yogurt, cottage cheese or applesauce to satisfy you.
  • Add any fruit that you desire: strawberries, kiwis, strawberries, raspberries.
  • Add granola or nuts.
  • Add whipped cream.
  • Drizzle some caramel or chocolate sauce over the top.
  • Cherry on top!
