In Everyday Easels-Book 1, you’ll spend ten days studying the painting A Path Among the Rocks by Theodore Rousseau. You’ll learn about the artist and his story of perseverance, Biblical stories represented in art, geography and the Forest of Fontainebleau, English activities, a math and graph activity, science and a nature walk, indoor and outdoor physical education activities, planning a virtual field trip for your family, notebooking, and three different arts and crafts activities.
You’ll also have the chance to enjoy two mini five-day unit studies focusing on the Acropolis of ancient Greece and the designs of Louis Comfort Tiffany. The study of the Acropolis will include art, archaeology, geography, history, and arts and crafts activities. The study of Louis Comfort Tiffany will include art, science, English, history, and arts and craft activities. Both studies also include notebooking questions.
