With three active kids, homeschooling and working from home, I transport my laptop everywhere. Many times, that involves having my hands full while carrying my laptop and also being around other families, while I am working. I have always been concerned that I will drop my laptop, or a child will knock it off the table or my lap. To remedy this, I began using the Snap Shell for 15” MacBook Pro Retina Clear from Max Cases.

The case comes in two pieces that snap directly onto your computer. No tools needed. It was snapped and ready to go in a few minutes. The case does not cause any issues with your ports and slots making it a seamless addition of protection for your computer.

The first thing I noticed about the case was that the rugged polycarbonate material was much lighter than I expected but seemed very strong. I was confident the case would protect my laptop from scratches, dents, and unfortunate drops. 

I have used the case for over a month now and have taken my computer to and from many places including the gym, the park, and my car. In all the use, I have found that the case has held up well. Luckily, I have had no major bumps or drops, but any bit of extra assurance helps, in my opinion.

I was slightly concerned about fitting my computer into my bag with max case snapped on, but it has fit easily and I have had no issues with it working in my bag. In fact, I appreciate that there is an extra layer of protection while I am transporting my computer as well.
