Baroque Dance Unmasked Review by Tara Howell

My family recently viewed the Baroque Dance Unmasked DVD. This was a very well created documentary on the process of dance theater. The video was very good quality. My girls really enjoyed all the vivid colors of the dancers' costumes and the music.

This year we have studied the early 1800s in history, and this documentary was an invaluable tool for giving my kids an inside look at entertainment in this era. However, I will say that there were a few points in which I found my kids' attention drifting. The DVD was a real inside look at all the hard work that goes into a full-on stage production. All in all, I would say this was a very nice way to expose my children to dance in this era.
