The STUDYPOD Book Holder is the perfect addition to the busy homeschool. Upon opening the box, you will find complete picture-driven directions to open and use the STUDYPOD along with the unit. This sturdy plastic book holder measures 6.5 inches long, 9 inches high and 1.25 inches deep when closed and fits in the bookshelf along with the school books. When propped open with the metal locking pin and held up by the support arm, the book holder opens to 13 inches wide. Once open there are plastic flip-down shelves that support your book at its base along with support arms that hold the book open to the specified page. It will hold most textbook sizes due to its flexibility and would work well in the kitchen for cookbooks. My daughter uses the STUDYPOD for a substantial book that is 8 by 11 inches and 1.5 inches deep and close to four pounds in weight with no problems at all. The support arms in the front that lock the book open are easily moved yet sturdy enough to prevent the book from moving in the holder. The whole product folds up quickly and easily when not in use.

Inside the unit you will find a pocket made of netting to keep your pen, calculator, cell phone or any other important tool at the ready. The STUDYPOD is well-made and has helped my daughter manage what is a premium on workspace in our home. Available in black, blue, and pink, and listed online for only $19.95, this is one home study help that will be used in our school for years.
