Simple Health is a beginners book to healthy living. The authors use simple, fun quizzes to help you find your own way into a healthier life. A few of the topics they cover in their eleven chapters are laughter, creativity, stress management, exercise, healthy eating, and volunteering. They offer practical suggestions in every chapter for how to implement a healthy lifestyle. One chapter is totally devoted to laughter and its health benefits.
Although Simple Health is intended for adults, you could use it in your homeschool to teach your children about healthy living. The quizzes could be a fun way to explore this topic.
I think this is a wonderful book for people needing guidance and looking into starting a healthier lifestyle. One of my favorite chapters is the one about healthy eating. The authors include a list of food and the brands that are the healthiest. I really appreciate this because I am constantly reading labels. Having a list of approved foods would be such a time saver.
I do wish the chapter on "Practicing Your Faith" had been a little more focused on Christ. But overall, I recommend this book to any person wanting to implement a healthy lifestyle.
