I received a CD containing various Brandenburg unit studies, including "The Way West," "The Oregon Trail," "The Young Carthaginian." "Ancient Egypt," and "Time Line Project." There are no specific instructions stating whether it is for PC or MAC, but it worked well on my PC.

The product works very easily. Once you place the CD in the tray, the Auto-Run feature takes you directly to the Adobe PDF files. I would not assume this product to be useful only for homeschoolers, because it could be used to reinforce what a child might be learning in a different school setting or provide reference for an essay or book study. These self-directed studies are for middle school grades. Many of the pictures, however, could be used for younger children to color since they are black-and-white.

I found this product convenient and very easy to use. The links were all working, and I enjoyed being able to visit the different virtual museums to gather information. The instructions are understandable and would be easy for a student to follow. I have used these studies with my child, who loves to study about Egypt and likes doing timelines. We are very happy with the product.

The only disappointment was not being able to find the study entitled "All About Horses," which was listed on the cover. I could not find it anywhere on the CD. I was really looking forward to getting into that particular program, because I have friends who are venturing into the topic of horses with their families and I wanted to be able to pass along the study to them. Otherwise, I honestly love the programs and will definitely use them for my family's studies.
