The Lord Is My Shepherd: Psalm 23 Review by Lisa Barthuly

(book, Activity Book, and Sequence Flash Cards)

Seed Faith Books

The first thing that jumped out at me when I saw these books and flash cards was the gorgeous illustrations. They are just as sweet and comforting as the words of this Psalm! My children love them.

Seed Faith Books offers a lovely hardcover book with dust jacket, a presentation page to sign to the recipient of the book, and heavy glossy pages that present the wisdom of the 23rd Psalm. I love beautiful books, and this certainly falls into that category! The author takes each line of the Psalm and gives an easy-to-understand explanation of what the psalmist is telling us. At the end is a short prayer. Lovely!

The softbound Activity Book is three-hole punched and is geared for ages 3-8. It has 96 pages of reproducibles, stickers, craft ideas, finger plays, games, songs, coloring pages and more! All of these activities help reinforce the message of Psalm 23.

The Sequence Flash Cards are on a plastic ring to make them easy for little hands to flip through. The cards go through the Psalm line by line and show the NKJV and NIV in English and Spanish!

I can't come up with any reason you would not thoroughly enjoy these. Our family gives a definite thumbs-up for these lovely and inspirational materials!
