Beginning Mathematical Reasoning Review by Lisa Barthuly & Family

PO Box 1610
Seaside, CA 93955-1610

Beginning Mathematical Reasoning is a huge workbook (over 200 pages!) of thinking and reasoning skills for the littlest mathematicians! Geared toward 3- and 4-year-olds, this book will help them develop skills such as counting, identifying, matching, ordering, position, and comparing and estimating, to start.

The colors in the workbook catch children's eyes and, working together with Mom and Dad, will surely spark their interest! Once base skills have been mastered, this book moves into the most basic addition, subtraction, writing, patterning, grouping, and measuring skills, and the list keeps on going!

Beginning Mathematical Reasoning offers the youngest child many simple, basic lessons in developing those thinking, reasoning, and logic skills for a firm mathematical foundation. Add some manipulatives, and you've got a beginning math program for very little out-of-pocket that will not overwhelm a little one.

I think this program would be a perfect introduction to math skills at the simplest level. I would definitely recommend it for any child beginning their adventure into mathematics. Thumbs UP, Critical Thinking! Another WINNER!
