Movez is a simple yet enjoyable and entertaining game that truly will get kids moving! Its easy-to-understand rules and quick gameplay get the whole family on their feet and moving in no time. This game comes fully equipped with a 30-second timer, game die, star tokens, and playing cards. Rated for play among two to four players, this is an excellent choice for families of varying age ranges. Inside the box, you will find a convenient organizer for keeping all the pieces in place and a bag for storing the star tokens and timer. Also included is a set of straightforward directions explaining all gameplay areas. Movez is available for purchase on the Kenson Kids website for $19.95.

Each player rolls the large foam die during gameplay and follows the indicated action. For example, a player may be required to find something specific around the house, act out a mystery item, or do an active body movement for the length of the timer. With the successful completion of each action, the player receives a star token, bringing them closer to victory.

One of my favorite parts of homeschooling is changing our routine, when necessary, to accommodate my children’s needs. For example, on days when sitting still is a struggle and bookwork is just not happening, I love pulling out our Movez game and supporting my children’s need to move their bodies while exercising their brains. Movez encourages healthy competition and active movement and is the perfect rainy-day alternative to outdoor physical education plans.

My family has played this game as a “brain break” during our school day several times, but we have also played it with the entire family as a part of family game night. My eldest son, in particular, thoroughly enjoys challenging his dad to the physical exercises! It can be a tall task to find a game that is truly fun for the whole family, but the large print and clear pictures made it possible for our youngest, five years old, to participate alongside her older siblings. In addition, my children often pull this game out to play with each other “just for fun” and do not require any assistance to set up and play.

We have an extensive collection of board games, and I always appreciate it when the manufacturer includes some sort of organizer for the pieces. I was grateful for the effort made by Kenson Kids. Unfortunately, however, the organizer slots were not quite the right fit for the pieces and didn’t fulfill their intended purpose. Additionally, the box is made of thin cardboard, and children could easily tear it if not careful. In future versions of this game, I would love to see the organizer reworked and the box made in a sturdier material.

Along with my family, I had a wonderful time playing this game and was impressed by how enjoyable it was for a wide range of ages and personalities. My oldest child is eleven years old, and he enjoys playing just as much as our five-year-old daughter!

Movez is an exceptional family game and would be an excellent choice for any family with children ages three and older. It is simple, fun, wholesome, and a terrific way to move your body and get everybody laughing.
