The LOOK Book is chock-full of scavenging fun for everyone! These books guide you through a simple yet entertaining scavenger hunt in which the entire family can participate. Our family has been working on The LOOK Book: Hometown USA and The LOOK Book: Nature Walk and have had a blast exploring both new and familiar places. Each book includes about sixty pages worth of landmarks, locations, and items to find as well as a sheet of "Found It!" stickers to mark your accomplishments as you go. In addition, the paperback books are small enough to fit in your purse, diaper bag, or your car's center console, making them perfect for on the go! Both books are available on The LOOK Book website for $14.95 each.

These books are fantastic for the busy family. As a mom of four children, I sometimes find it challenging to stick with a new activity unless it is very easily accessible. When we received the LOOK Books, I put Hometown USA in the center console of my car and Nature Walk in the pocket of our stroller. Whenever we were out running errands or on our nightly walk to the park, we had an awesome activity option right at our fingertips!

We have four children aged 16 months to 11 years old, so finding activities that everyone enjoys can be challenging. These books are great because everyone can participate! We've had a recent heat wave in our area, and since our home doesn't have air conditioning, we've been going on many drives to beat the heat. During these drives, my children love passing around Hometown USA, taking turns looking for and finding different items from around our town. It's been amazing to see what was always right under our noses, but we never noticed until we started this scavenger hunt!

Each evening, we take a walk around the neighborhood and to the park, and Nature Walk has been a terrific way for us to slow down and take a closer look at our surroundings. My oldest two children (ages 9 and 11) enjoy pointing out different plants and flowers, while my 4-year-old joyfully places the stickers from the stroller.

I appreciated the simplicity of each page, which included a picture, a simple description, and a blank space for the sticker. I would love to see lines added for recording the date and location that you found the scavenger hunt item, but there is enough blank space to add that in on your own if you wish to.

I would recommend The LOOK Books: Hometown USA and Nature Walk for any family with children ages twelve and under. Not only do they provide entertainment, but they also create opportunities to expand further on new discoveries, sparking curiosity and encouraging family conversation.
