Bears contains 121 pages of reproducible worksheets for a cross-curricular unit study with a bear theme. This curriculum is geared toward a kindergarten-1st grade level. There are songs, poems, math worksheets, art projects, reading, handwriting, science, and recipe pages. They are all cute which makes them appealing to the student. I have two homeschoolers who will start preschool next year and one kindergartener. I am going to use these multiple times in the course of their early education. Bears are a particularly interesting subject because they are plentiful where we live, though I’d much rather deal with the cute bears in the book than the real thing, of course.

The math sheets cover simple addition. One is a color-by-number teddy bear where you solve the addition problems and color each section with the color that corresponds to the answer.

There are several cute poems in here, including one of my all-time favorites: “Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear. Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair. Then Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn’t fuzzy, was he?”

There are patterns for bear masks and a pattern for a paper plate panda. There are a lot of cute ideas. I’m so excited to have this resource.
