101 Bible Adventures Review by Christine Hindle

This is a paperback book with 101 two-page long Bible adventures. Each adventure tells a story from the Bible. For example, No. 25 is "The Ten Commandments." It begins with "What's Up?" which is a synopsis of the story. Next, it tells the story under the heading "Action Adventure from Exodus 19:1-20:17". In one corner is the "Key Verse" (Exodus 19:5-6), and in another corner is a pertinent cartoon.   At the bottom of the story is "Now What?" which sums up why this story applies to the reader.

This would make a great family devotional or even a daily Bible study lesson in your homeschool. The set-up is a format that looks good to kids, and is compact enough to be very readable for them, even if they are reluctant readers. I myself enjoyed the lessons in this book and found them challenging. This book sells for $12.99, and would make a great present for a grandchild or a great purchase for a homeschool student. I am planning to use this for my 13-year-old as a devotional in our homeschool.
