The iLumina Bible Software is a comprehensive virtual Biblical treasury. It contains complete Bible texts, virtual tours of Holy Land sites, animations, an interactive Bible atlas, photos, charts, study notes and commentaries, dictionary and encyclopedia articles, Bible studies, quizzes, hymn stories, timelines, and much, much more. For the average student of the Bible, this resource would provide more than adequate tools for all of your Bible study needs. It is compatible with both PC and Mac systems and takes up 2 GB of hard drive space when copied to the hard drive (for fastest performance). It takes 520 MB of space when fully installed while using the disc, or it can be run from the DVD.

The one drawback that I see with the software is that the only two Bible translations on the software are the KJV and the New Living Translation. If you are okay with doing your study in either of those translations, then you will really enjoy the software. If you are a fan of the NIV, RSV or ESV translations, you might not care for this product. However, for anyone doing some in-depth study, you should get enough out of the "extras" to make it very worthwhile. The menu is easy to use, and the animations and virtual tours would appeal to kids as well, making the product very family-friendly.

The price of the iLumina Gold Premium (more features) is $89.99. The regular version of iLuminacomes with the same kinds of extras, but not as many of each, and that version is $19.99. Either one would offer a wide array of options for Bible study.
