This Dry Erase Geography Workbook is a fun way to learn State (US) / Country (World) placement and facts. It is a spiral-bound book of maps and questions that is designed for use with fine-line dry erase markers. There are 8 full-color maps with activities. The first one is the US map. The activities include fill-in-the-blank state names, unscramble state names, ten questions plus a bonus question, and finally finding and circling states on a map. Each section has a similar set of activities. The maps include U S (States), Canada, Mexico and Central America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and The World.

What I really appreciate about this book is that it is a portable activity that can go with you when you are traveling and need an activity to keep the kids busy in the car, or when you are doing homeschooling on the fly while running errands and don't want to skip Geography but don't want to drag that heavy textbook along. It is also reusable--just erase and the student can do it again another day. This is great for learning the states and countries, which is a major part of any geography curriculum. This resource can be used for any grade. I am using it for both a kindergarten student and a middle school student. This resource is well worth the investment, as it can be used throughout your homeschooling years for multiple children and multiple age groups. For only $11.99, how could you go wrong? This company also makes laminated and paper placemats with these same maps as well as other geography helps.
