This DVD was inspired by a true story. It tells the story of a young female who was abused as a child and later as a teenager and had a rough life after that. At a low point in her life, she ends up in a shelter for homeless females that is run by a local church. The church members are divided about running this type of operation, and their reluctance is aggravated by a lack of progress by many of the females in the shelter. Toward the end of the movie, the deacons have a sudden unexplained change of heart and decide to expand the program instead of shutting it down.

While the movie was based on a worthy pursuit and tried to portray the situation, the script was poorly written, the acting was terrible, and the plot was non-existent. I would not recommend this movie for homeschoolers because it deals with subjects and situations that are not appropriate for children. And there is really no entertainment value to be had here anyway.
