Basic Cake Decorating is an instructional video that is very informative and helpful. I found it recorded at a slow enough pace that if I wanted to, I could actually follow along with my own cake decorating and keep up. Although I'm sure a lot of work went into the making of the DVD, the price is a little steep for my family. The quality was not that great and there were skips in the picture.
I like how Mrs. Brodock showed the size cufflinks for each tip and bag; she also gave her thoughts on which one she thought was best for each decoration. She shared how to make different size tips to use for making stems, flowers, stars, and was very detailed about the supplies needed for each recipe. If the DVD cost was less then I would recommend it for anyone who wants to learn to decorate cakes.
