My children loved this book, which captures the excitement of this time period in the early 1860s as The Pony Express linked East and West coasts. Join Mark on his adventures with The Pony Express at this pivotal point in American history.
We Were There with The Pony Express makes for a great family read-aloud, or just a great book for the children to enjoy. It would also would make a great addition to any study of this time period.
This is a wonderful read that we thoroughly enjoyed, and we'd highly recommend it! A great addition to the homeschool family library!
