Explore Ancient Egypt! is a new title from Nomad Press's "Explore Your World" series. The unique, child-friendly approach in this series makes learning so much fun! The book is packed full of fun hands-on activities, projects, trivia, interesting facts, and much more!

Explore Ancient Egypt! helps our younger students discover pyramids, mummies, amulets, temples, and pharaohs! We learned about Egyptian homes, foods, money, toys, games, clothing, and more! There are 25 hands-on projects that bring Egypt alive for the children and require only common household items. Make a scarab necklace, write in hieroglyphs, make "King Tut Sandals"--these are just a few of the projects included. The projects have easy-to-follow instructions and require little adult supervision, giving the children the opportunity to work independently and resulting in an "I can do it all by myself" smile that is priceless!

This paperback has over 80 pages (on recycled paper) of fun activities, projects, and more for the whole family. This would be an exciting stand-alone study or a great supplement to your favorite history curriculum! Absolute recommendation! Two thumbs up from this homeschooling family!
