Girls of Grace is a daily devotional for teenage girls. The book is divided into weekly sections which include five different activities: a brief thought, a fill-in-the-blank Bible study, a special Scripture to read, an action idea, and a journaling page. The fill-in-the-blank sections have an answer key in the back of the book. The activities do not need to be completed in any particular order. There are only five days of devotions, which allows for a Sunday "rest" day and an "oops, I forgot" day.

Most of the devotions start with an "I understand what you are feeling" followed by a "This is how God wants you to do it" application. For instance, teenagers don't always understand their parents' rules. The writer then uses an example from her own experience that teaches how parents know what's best. The writers don't talk down to the reader, but they empathize with them and encourage them to look to Christ in their struggles.

The only negative I see in using this book is that it seems necessary to have different versions of the Bible, especially since they don't always show in the fill-in-the-blank sections which ones to use. The answer section in the back does indicate which versions to use, but you might find it inconvenient to be constantly referring to that section.

Overall, this is an excellent source for helping the teenage girl in your life to grow in Christ.
