Ekadoo publishes some very eye catching, colorful, educational books for our youngest learners (geared for preschool to 3rd grade age)! The Picture Book Dictionary English-Spanish Edition is a hardback, almost 100-page book of over 3000 words, to see and say.

The word list and the supporting sentences structure were based on the 220 words of the Dolch Basic Sight Vocabulary (the most frequently used words). This books helps our little ones learn some of the most basic words used in English and Spanish, using example sentences that put word meanings into context. The vivid illustrations show the activity described in the sentence and capture little ones imagination! Each English key word is followed up with its Spanish translation, used in a sentence, and shown in both English and Spanish. The books will aid in vocabulary, speech and conversation skills, along with reading and spelling skills, not to mention boosting children's confidence in their abilities to learn other languages!

The Picture Book Dictionary has been a fun way to increase our children's knowledge of the Spanish language; this is a great springboard for little ones on their way to future foreign language studies!
