Live and Learn presents a Learn 'N Folder for grades K-3.
This packet comes loose and unbound so be sure to buy a notebook to keep all of your pages together until you need them. Once you have done that, dive in! The step-by-step instructions on how to assemble the learning folder are very clear. The templates can simply be cut out and placed in the folder where directed. You will also have many questions that will get you started on completing a detailed study of any state in the USA.
Some of the subject headings for the folder are: state symbols, state motto, famous people from your state, the economy, the state song and a timeline of the state's history, to name a few. For each subject heading there are questions to answer and direction to resources that will assist you in finding information for your folder.
Another great thing about this packet is that you are not left alone to discover all of this information yourself. Included within the instructions are websites that will help you along the way.
Once you have completed your folder, you will have a nice through report of a state that your children can use as a reference for future studies.
